While the Government has removed COVID-19 restrictions, we will continue being vigilant and proactive with combating the spread of the virus. We want you to know that we are doing our very best to provide a safe and secure holiday cottage for our guests and staff, and have taken every step possible to minimise risks.
We're delighted to be awarded with Visit England's "We're Good To Go" industry accreditation. This verifies that our beautiful cottage meets the Government and Public Health Guidance on COVID-19.
We're thrilled to have been awarded with the World Travel & Tourism Council's 'Safe Travels' badge. This essentially means we are meeting international global standardised health and hygiene protocols!
Coronaviruses are a group of viruses that cause illnesses such as the common cold, to more severe conditions such as pneumonia, Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory syndrome (SARS). The COVID-19 strain of coronavirus is new and not previously known.
The main symptoms of this COVID-19 include:
COVID-19 spreads when an infected person coughs small droplets - packed with the virus - into the air. These can be breathed in, or cause an infection if you touch a surface they have landed on then your eyes, nose or mouth. People will be most infectious when they have symptoms, but there have been suggestions some can spread the virus even before they are sick.
Our Advice To You
Should you or any of your guests have a high temperature and/or a new continuous cough please do not visit our properties and look to contact your travel insurance/ speak to us to discuss a re-booking at a later date. By isolating yourself at this point, you will stop the spreading of the virus to others.
On a more general note, if you feel your symptoms are getting worse at home or you cannot cope with them and / or your symptoms do not get better after 7 days of isolation, please call 111 to discuss your options further.
How You Can Help Yourself and Others
What if we experience another national lock down in the UK and it affects my booking?
We are happy to reschedule your booking to a later date so to not lose your money or we will look to refund, where stays are within the two months ahead of the current date.
What happens if you or a member of your group start to show symptoms of the virus at our property?
If the member of your group is showing symptoms prior to your stay, we ask that they remain at home and follow government advice. If said person is within your household, the rest of your household will need to remain at home and take a test. If the member of your group is within a different household, you are still welcome to the property so long as you test negative
If you show symptoms during your stay, please inform us immediately and leave to return home. You will be reimbursed for any days lost due to leaving.
We will then proceed to Fog the property, this machine will sanitise the air and all surfaces after your departure, ensuring our housekeeping team can thereafter enter the premises to deep clean the cottage
OUR PREVENTATIVE MEASURES IN PLACE
No members of our team have any symptoms at all, however, we are implementing as many measures as possible to put yourselves at ease as well as protecting our own staff
