Frequently Asked Questions

Do you allow dogs at Waterside Barn?

Yes! As of December 2024, we now allow 1 x dog at the property.  We require a £250.00 refundable bond to be paid prior to your stay – this will be refunded in the week following your stay subject to no damage or additional cleaning required.

Dogs are to be kept out of carpeted rooms and on a lead beyond the initial grounds (land leading to the river and beyond). This is important so we may protect the local wildlife. Dog rules are provided upon request and booking with us.

Do you have an EV Charger at the property?

Yes! We have just had an EV Charger installed in 2022, please do request the fob and cables prior to your stay and we will drop these round upon your arrival!

Do you have on-site parking?

Yes, we provide parking at the front of the property. The space can host up to 4 cars.

Are food deliveries able to reach Waterside Barn?

Yes, we have previously had deliveries from Ocado, Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Tesco and Morrisons.

Are there any pub-walks nearby to Waterside Barn?

Yes, we have three local pubs, all of which have walks to and from the property:

  1. Sycamore Inn, Parwich
  2. The Olde Gate Inne, Brassington
  3. The Old Dog, Thorpe

We also recommend another pub a short drive from the cottage called the Knockerdown Inn. For further information, please request our Pub Walk document, alternatively all the information you will need including a step-by-step guide to the pub and back (map included) will be provided at the property.

Is Waterside Barn wheelchair friendly?

We do not believe Waterside Barn is wheelchair friendly due to the available space  through doorways. If you would like more information, please see our accessibility page and statement.
